PJ Homes First Texas Builder to Include Permanent Fire Escape Ladder as a Standard Feature in New Homes (ATLANTA) October 10, 2006 – PEARL Protected®, creators of the patented Permanent Escape And Rescue Ladder (PEARL®) for two- and three-story homes, today announced that PJ Homes will be the first builder in Texas to offer PEARL as a standard feature in all upstairs bedrooms of new two- and three-story homes. PEARL will be included in two PJ Homes subdivisions, Lookout at Bushy Creek in the Austin metropolitan area and Windy Park Village in nearby Round Rock. PJ Homes joins a growing list of builders nationwide that are offering this innovative home safety device as a standard feature in upstairs bedrooms.
