Tate Builders First South Carolina Builder to Include PEARL Permanent Escape And Rescue Ladder in New Homes as Standard Feature PEARL Protected generates fire safety awareness in region through educational and philanthropic involvement (ATLANTA) August 29, 2006 – PEARL Protected®, creators of the patented Permanent Escape And Rescue Ladder (PEARL®) for two- and three-story homes, today announced that Greenville, South Carolina-based Tate Builders will immediately begin offering PEARL as a standard feature in all new construction. As upstate South Carolina’s premier custom homebuilder, Tate Builders will be the first in the region to include two PEARL fire safety ladders in every new home. Tate Builders builds large custom homes in many of the area’s most prestigious residential communities, including South Oak Pointe and Lake Keowee. Homes start at 3,000 square feet and feature family-friendly designs and upgrades. “Most of our customers are families with children. All proceeds benefit Bridges From Augusta Inc., a non-profit organization that works to assist adult individuals and families who have experienced burn injuries and trauma. The organization is committed to transitioning these individuals back into the community by providing education, empowerment and support while building community alliances.
