Become a PEARL Builder™
Add Safety, Value & More Profit to Each Home You Build
By offering PEARL as a standard feature in your homes, you are eligible
to become a PEARL Builder. Research shows that approximately 90% of homeowners
would choose a builder with a reputation for making home safety a priority
over an equally qualified builder. That’s why some of the biggest
names in the business have become PEARL Builders.
PEARL Builders are viewed as caring and responsible. In addition, more
than 60% of respondents say that if they had to choose between two nearly
identical homes and one of them had a PEARL-Permanent Escape And Rescue
Ladder installed, they would choose the home with PEARL.*

Become a PEARL Builder in 5 Simple Steps
1. Learn
About PEARL and How to Become a PEARL Builder.
Obtain a Free
Launch Kit to learn more about the PEARL-Permanent
Escape And Rescue Ladder and the company behind it, PEARL Protected.
Meet with a PEARL representative or your trusted building
supply dealer to receive information on PEARL. PEARL is a good business decision.
Including PEARL in the homes you build can help you sell more homes
and make a positive impact to your bottom line.
2. Evaluate Internal Requirements for Including PEARL in Your Communities.
Just as with any new product that you introduce to your company, be sure
to meet with the appropriate divisions to understand how to equip each
second and third story window to receive PEARL. The installation requirements
are simple. Click to download the free CAD files for your architects and
contractors. You can also download our Installation
and User Manual (PDF).
3. Select a Community for a Pilot Program.
Once you know how to integrate PEARL into your various models, we suggest
starting with a pilot program in an upcoming community. In the pilot,
two PEARLs should be offered as a standard feature, with the option to
include additional PEARLs. If your building
supply dealer offers PEARL,
they can provide you with marketing materials for your sales models. If
not, please contact us at
. We will help you get
the right tools to promote your PEARL Protected homes!
4. Implement the PEARL Program in the Selected Pilot Community.
When you are ready to implement
your pilot program, make sure that you pay special attention to how
people react to having their home PEARL Protected. Your customers (and
potential customers) will thank you for adding this level of safety
in their new home. The home you built will stand out in their mind… for
all the right reasons! The pilot will provide some great feedback as
you begin to roll out the program into additional communities. We can
also feature your communities in our marketing and public relations
programs. For more information, contact our Marketing Department at
800-374-5737 or contact us.
5. Make PEARL a Standard in All of Your Communities and Reap the
Rewards of Being a HERO!
This is the really exciting part! After the initial pilot, continue to
install two PEARLs as a standard in EVERY home you build. Rest assured
that you are offering the best in home safety for the families who live
in your communities. You are now, officially, a PEARL Builder.
Read About the Beneficial Impact of Selling Home Safety

The purpose of the survey was:
- To gauge their understanding of residential fire safety
- To discover their perceptions about builders’ commitment
to home safety
