BuilderNEWS Fire Safety Product News

As an added safety precaution, builders may want to consider adding a permanent escape ladder to rooms in the second and third stories of houses. PEARL Protected offers a ladder made of military-grade webbing with rungs of aluminum that is enclosed in a wood and steel box bolted into the studs and concealed in a box behind the wall. "It’s always where you need it, when you need it,” says David Duley, PEARL Protected CEO. "We call it the air bag for the home.”
